It is looking extremely likely that Pang De has indeed been cut. There was a rumor list somebody had leaked that listed names of new characters we'd be getting and that Pang De and Zuo Ci would not be returning. So far, the leak has been correct about all of the new characters (even Lian Shi) so it looks like it's pretty accurate. I'd say there's a high chance that we are not getting Pang De back this time around.

I was teetering on the edge of "This might be a passable game" and "God, Tecmo...what the hell have you done?" however I am now in the Fangirl Rage category.

Why? Lian Shi. Who the HELL is she other than Lara Flynn Boyle in a Wu costume? No.No.NO! Talk about pulling a character out of NOWHERE for just fanservice. Like little Fanboys need to fuss over who else they can marry in DW7: Empires.

I was iffy on Bao Shennigans when she was announced but let her slide because I thought she was a Kessen 2 tribute. Any idea that that was the case has been stomped to death.

Really sad when you look at these characters and all you can think is "At least the hentai doujin circles are happy."

I just want more character depth on the people we already love...however that's apparently just a dream lost in the deep cavern between Lian Shi's extraterrestrial boobs.

LOL I thought Bao Sanniang was the fanservice one - given that she's not even REAL. What a kick in the face for anyone hoping for any quality or class in this game. Then they get Lian Shi and those huge tits bigger than her own head? Uh huh...

I'm sticking with DW6 Empires so I can live in my happy little world which while not as good as DW4 (I've not got a copy of that one any more ;_;), at least I can Gary Sue marry Sun Jian which will nerdily make me feel better because that makes me laugh.

I hope I'm not late to reply. I'm sorry if I'm late and you already knew about this. Lian Shi is Sun Quan's wife in the history of Han Dynasty, but I don't know in the game. I read in DW7 official website that Lian Shi is Sun Shang Xiang's companion and also a guard, I hope Lian Shi in this game is more than that. I want her to be Sun Quan's beloved wife, just like in the history. Not just a mere guard for Sun Shang Xiang.
