Samurai Warriors 3 EMPIRES announced + Petition for SW3Z

Just revealed this past week, Koei is releasing Sengoku Musou 3: Empires for the PS3 on August 25th, 2011 in Japan.

So far, the information we have states there will be a Story Mode where you can play as one of 10 clans. There's also the usual Empire Mode where you can play as one of 25 clans.

There will be over 600 apparently playablegenerals, including 40 uniques ones from SW3/SW3Z. There will also be the Create a Warrior Mode.

There's a bit more information, but more should be coming out in the coming months from Famitsu! No word yet on new characters. :(

Finally!!

Someone on the KW forums has said that Chin told him that if this petition were to receive 20,000 signatures, Koei would seriously consider releasing SW3Z and SW3: XL over overseas. (As previously, they had decided not to because of a supposed lack of interest, since the Wii exclusive version did so poorly (for obvious reasons to everyone but them, apparently.))

While I don't know if that claim has been verified, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain by at least trying, so please sign if you can, and get the word and link out! Here's the link again.

I have yet to see anyone praise KOEI for putting SW3 on the Wii. I enjoyed SW3 on the Wii, but making it for the Wii was a bad choice, sadly.

Yeah, same here. I've never seen anyone thought that a Wii exclusive was a good idea. I know some want Koei to continue releasing SW3 Era games on the Wii, like Empires and XL, for those who purchased the Wii version, but that's only because Koei stuck it on the Wii in the first place, you know?

It just infuriates me, because I know they could have made about twice as many sales, at least, by releasing it on the PS3 and Xbox, where their established fanbase already was. Most of the people on the KW forums hadn't owned a Wii before the game came out.

And either they're just not willing to take the risk or they're really stupid and can't realise this.
