DW7XL Events and Movies
Nov. 18th, 2011 06:25 amlight-the-light.livejournal.comI got the game a couple of days ago and spent... a while playing through Legend Move to unlock the cutscenes. I've now recorded them all, and I'm linking them (on a new YT account, since my old one was abandoned for various reasons). Not embedding them because there's over 20 and they're all HD. Unfortunately, no cutscenes for the Others characters and only people without a single stage in storymode got a Legend stage.

Anime Festival Asia 2011

This is Engi speaking on behalf of our doujinshi circle, Orcaloid. In these past months, we have been working on a Dynasty Warriors 7 doujinshi which is now ready for release and sale on AFA11. So if you're a DW fan and going to AFA, do visit our booth to take a look, or even just to say hi. We look forward to seeing fellow DW fans there. :) Festival days are on 12-13 November only.

And because for some reason, we don't get a booth number, please try to find us in the Artist Alley section. Our booth goes by the name of ORCALOID and it will have one of these flags hung as a booth sign. They're for sale, btw. :)

It's been a rumour for about a month or so, but "scans" are out that confirm its existence and more info.
what we do know is that there are (at least?) 120 characters appearing, including the ones from SW3 and DW7. No word on Guo Jia, Wang Yi and Pang De (though I would assume they are, since DW7XL's been released before this game will come out).
It's going to be released both on XBox and PS3.
Release date seems to be set for December.
Goemon doesn't appear to be coming back.

KOEI Character Polls

The first four popular characters are given new CGI artwork. Beautiful images, too :D

akzseinga is hosting a great love fest dedicated to female characters. It’s called:
WE LOVE THE WOMEN THAT THE FANDOM HATES
It’s a week-long fest where you post everyday, showing your love and appreciation to a female character that might be hated on in the fandom (for variety of reason).
You can learn more here (as well as claim a female character for yourself.)
And don’t be afraid to spread the love and pimp the event everywhere :)

DW Confessions

Also, are any of you looking to import the game, and play it? It's actually not too difficult to work, and play. It functions quite like the SW2E game.
If not, are any of you unhappy with KOEI not giving the game a Western release? Is there anything you think could have been done differently? I'm curious to hear the thoughts of others concerning the game.
