I play as all kingdoms. When it says that I HAVE TO BEAT MY FAVOURITES, I don't play said campaign. Why, I cry when I have to go up against Cao Pi, too. I see that, I either defect or quit.
If I have Yue Ying and Zhen Ji unlocked, then I can go knock some sense into their husbands.
That settles Shu and Wei. Now as for Wu!! Wu.. woo hoo? Wow.. um.. you know? I haven't found my number one favourite yet.
...so I guess sadness nearly overcame you when you played Dynasty Warriors 6? =/
I usually feel the insatiable urge of finishing Musou Mode with all the characters, even if I don't like them, but Shu is the first kingdom I choose. But now that you mention it, I don't think I have a favorite character from Wu.
Well, Zhen Jin vs. Cao Pi is almost... sexy, in a weird sort of way. And yeah, Strikeforce's difficulty is probably the reason why I gave up playing that game. :T
*sigh* Red Cliff's Zhou Yu was so much more... acceptable than the real Zhou Yu. How marvelous it would be if Red Cliff's ending was canon. =/
Cao Cao and Cao Pi. So help me. It's hot when they fight one another. Straight to Hell (or wherever it is us agnostics go to) I go, I know.
Some of the EARLIER fights are harder than the later fights. So help me.. when you first go up against Lu Bu and that creature he's on? I can't remember the name of it but man did I ever feel bad for defeating him. He's cuuuuuuuuute!!
Tony Leung and those eyes of his. GOD, WHY ARE THEY SO PIERCING AND JUST.. JUST.. amazing??
Zhuge Liang and his new way of courting Yue Ying by giving her a pony, who became a war horse.
I know in the grander scheme of things he's less important, but I'd rather have Liu Feng than Chan. Even if having Shan makes more sense in terms of history :)
Liu Bei! Looking more like the old Liu Bei! /dies of happiness
I'm glad they included Liu Chan so I can play as Jiang Wei, hunt him down, and repeatedly beat him up for every time he decided to ~run across the battlefield~ and get killed and ARGHRAGE because of that coat.
I can't remember if I read him being unattractive (JUST WAY TOO OLD FOR SUN SHANG XIANG... and probably a little too penis-y...) but I thought those funny long ears were supposed to signify wisdom or something?
I have to say that Liu Bei's character design is rather nice this time around, even without his little beard and mustache. He actually looks strong and competent, unlike in DW6. I'll admit that the sharpness of his facial features are a bit reminiscent of Lu Bu (A gentler Lu Bu, at least). As for Zhuge Liang, I feel that his outfit, though very refined, is a bit bland. Aside from that, I actually like it. As for Liu Chan...
i like how they pictured Liu Chan ^^ even in history he's so incompetent, i hope there's more twist of his story (always welcomed, varied version ^^) same as jin's family...CAN'T WAIT! >_<
as for Liu Bei, even without beard, he looks... MANLY! ^^
and Kong Ming and his diciple! ohohoho they become seme-ish in this DW7 lol
At least Liu Bei looks like his old self now, but I MISS HIS MOUSTACHE >( I don't like how the oldest of the 3 oath brothers looks like a kid. It's like Guan Yu and Zhang Fei are a really dysfunctional, ill-matched gay couple babysitting the neighbour's child.
And Liu Chan... wtf. WTF to appearance, WTF to him being there at all. Hate. So much hate.
