Sima Yi

I've never been a fan of Sima Yi in any of the DW/WO games, and then, lo, in DW7 I saw this:

... and I was rendered speechless. I had to go back and rewatch it like a hundred times. And stare. And drool.

Wow.

He's still not my favorite character, but my, he's surely gone up in the ranks. I definitely like him better than Zhugers now. (It also helps that the Jin family storyline gives a whole new perspective to his character and role in the RotK)

I was never really Sima Yi's fan. Then I used his Musou attack. "FUHAHAHAHAHA". Can it be any more charming?

I think Koei is trying to give a us a hint that he's evil or something, guys. Just a hunch. I mean, I'm probably wrong and this is just some crazy fan theory. Yeah.

I've always found it oddly amusing how I feel like DW makes most characters seem nicer and more likable than they come across in the novel, but with Sima Yi it feels like they go the complete 180 and make him seem like fifty times more of a douchebag.

And that is what made playing Wei's KM worth it. Because we know Sima Yi would kinda take everything and win. And that sinister smile, while chilling was pretty hot.

I miss his wicked laugh from DW4 (I think). I played him in more recent games and was greatly disappointed to find that gone.
