Inspired by the last post, and the fact that I want to talk about the other games, this comm is no longer limited to DW chat. Talk about WO, SW, DW, and all the other related games.

On that note, I was on the Koei Warriors site and saw some pics from SW 2 Xtreme Legends. If they keep adding characters to each game, do you think Koei will continue expanding the Orochi series?

They did leave the ending of Orochi pretty open for a sequel, but I guess if they make one, it won't happen until there's a SW3 so they can do it on PS3/XBox. By that time there will probably be 100 characters hacking their way through classic literature!

I hope so! Heck, I'm crossing my fingers for a WO:XL and hoping they add the SW2:XL characters, since all of those new characters look pretty cool.

If WO sells well enough, I imagine they'll definitely be making a WO2 and more. (It's been in the top 10 on gamefaqs for "wanted faq" since the week it was released, which is a good sign imo -- not sure how long the SW and DW games ranked up there)

I'm not sure what the critical mass is for playable characters in SW, though. Especially with the SW-style Story Mode. DW is ok because you have distinct families to group large chunks of the characters into, but I swear everyone is SW is part of a different faction so it seems you really just have to play all of the characters to get all of the story that the game is trying to tell.

I would prefer that they vary the stages more in SW than add more characters, personally. (although one or two new characters per game shouldn't be _too_ bad)
