Heh, I know a lot of fans have moved onto dw6(alas, not everyone has a ps3 or 360), but I am totally drooling over that announcement on the KOEI Warriors site for Musou Orochi: Rebirth of the Demon Lord. As I've said here before, I was holding out hope for some sort of WO:XL featuring the SW2:XL characters and not only does it do just that, but it has Fu Xi and Nu Wa also. I only hope the SW characters all have their extra sw2:XL charge attacks. I'm just happy to have Toshiie and Kojiro to be thrown into the three person mixes.
But since its apparently a sequel rather than a XL, does that mean I'd have to do everything for everyone all over again? I guess that's a total of 86 characters? Fu Xi and Nu Wa plus the 6 from SW2:XL sans Yoshimoto, since he's already in WO?
They only list a Japanese release date for the PS2, but surely the Xbox360 folks would get it also? Owel, it comes out in April in Japan, so going by standard Koei practices, it should be here in November?

Date: 2008-01-30 05:09 pm (UTC)Even though the story in the WO series is stupid, I still think I prefer the WO "series" the best of DW/SW/WO so far. There's just so much potential and gratuitous fun to be had in a crossover game.
Whee! I can't wait! And DW6 in 3 weeks!
