OK I gave in and got DW4: Empires to make up for not having DW5 until June. Argh. It is awesome <3
And I have DW5 questions... I can't be bothered to Google 'cause I have a headache, and I haven't posted here since I arrived, so here goes:
- How have the characters changed, if at all (especially Zhuge Liang and Liu Bei. Not that I am a crazy nutter or anything <3)
- Can you still not control the musou? Damn you, SW >_<
- Do enemies still disappear?
- OH MY GOD TELL ME EVERYTHING.
:D

There is still a little bit of enemy-disappearage but I haven't run into a situation where that's been a problem. What is a problem, however, is when you get backed into a corner and the camera angle changes so you can't see if you're hitting anyone. Meanwhile you're getting the tar kicked out of you and...yeah. That tends to be a little annoying.
It seems to me that the characters are more exaggerated. Sun Ce is even more of a flake (but I still love him); Sima Yi is even more of a scheming, evil-vizier type (which made me sad); Cao Pi is, well, a royal brat following in Daddy's shoes. Those are just examples, really. They made the personalities a little more...cartoonish? I guess?
I know none of this was about the two you asked about but I hope it helps a little. Oh, and the videos are amazing.

I think only in 2 player mode do they disappear. (I haven't been paying attion just killing)
XD ZHANG HE IS STILL BEAUTIFUL!!
Anyother questions just ask, I'll try to answer them as well as I can.
I love your icon!!! -coughs- Sorry about that.

Date: 2005-04-01 12:08 pm (UTC)Well you know in SW you can just press the musou button and leave it if all the enemies have gone, and you can change direction better and just do what you want with it. It's probably just me being fussy again XD
Well ok. I saw a pic of the DW5 characters and Zhuge Liang looked really different. Is he different, or is it just no mushroom-ness? Damn my squealing fangirlness >_>

Date: 2005-04-01 09:01 pm (UTC)Everyone has a lil bit of new stuff. His thing with the characters works better, and he hits a little harder. I hope they changed Sima Yi for the better too, cause comparatively Zhuge Liang was always a better play. :/
PS: If you use him and the girl bodyguard with the fan, their combined musou is a sight to behold :D

Depends on the Musou, the chars I always play as let me control it to an extent. Musou Rage is awesome, but they took away taunt for it! >.

Date: 2005-04-06 11:09 pm (UTC)-Sima Yi's voice was completely screwed up.
-Whenever you hit anyone they make a very "un-warrior like" sound.
-Zu Rhong is now more of a barbie than an amazon.
-The generic warrior officer's voice was horribly casted.
-I can't announce myself any more!
-Ling Tong might as well be Sun Ce w/ nunchakus (vice tonfas)
-Every base guard sounds like Takaeda Shingen from Samurai Warriors
That's really it. Mostly, I just miss the voice actors changed out from 4 to 5.
