So dissapointed with Dynasty Warriors 6...

So, I don't know if news has reached everyone here yet, but...

Dynasty Warriors 6 hit shelves today in Hong Kong, and rather than new additions to the character roster, seven characters got the axe. (Six if you don't count Zuo Ci...)

Da Qiao
Xing Cai
Jiang Wei
Pang De
Zhu Rong
Meng Huo
Zuo Ci (We pretty much surmised this, though...)

And only 17/41 remaining characters actually have a Musou Mode. :/

I'm EXTREMELY bummed out, considering Da Qiao was my favorite character in the entire series. -.-; She's pictured in the artwork for Xiao Qiao, who did not get cut, but she's definitely not playable, if she even makes an appearance in the game at all.

Xing Cai seems to have been liquidated entirely, as she's pictured in Zhang Fei's character art work, but as a chubby toddler.

Everyone else is completely MIA.

well, to be honest, i really didn't like any of those who got axed, specially da qiao, those annoying fan girls bugged the hell out of me, specially having to hear her yell in dw3 each time she attacked, i think i have hearing loss

because my brother constantly used her.he didn't like the sister to much but still used her. i personally can't stand overly cute characters getting played because they were cute, I play who was actually useful to me in the heat of combat. I was actually a little wtf over ssx's look and weaponchoice this time around. and a wtf @dian wei using a ball and chain, apparently according to my friend who seems to be way into the whole thing in terms of books and other such things, that historically dian wei's weapons were pang de's?

i dunno anything about it, but i enjoyed the axe... and now this? heh
I couldn't get behind zhu rong to much, she had her moments but annoyed me much

I never understood the point of xian cais weapons, she attacks with a pitch fork and has a shield, but can't block with the thing or run around ramming people with it? but can launch it like a boomerang? design wise i enjoyed her look alot. but ehh.. her weaponset was just..

and yet another excuse to for my brother to pick her

I use who is friggan useful period, it's never been based on gender, specially in the whole warriors games.

If i didn't like there playstyle they didn't get played, but because of him, i'd end up unlocking everyone because he is really slow at the damn thing, and having to go and get everyones 4th friggan weapon and end up lvling 70% of the roster to their max level because he again is slow at this, and for what!? so he could play with like 10 people 8 of them female? and leave me with the rest of the crap... man

i swear... its annoying and prolly one of the reasons i loved orochi so much, you can get a 4th weapon like nothing, and leveling was a breeze and to make things funny >_> those were like the 2 things he didn't like about it =P.

Im sorry but it shouldn't take anyone 3 whole days to max out one character when in 3 whole days i unlocked everyone and maxed out at least 20?

and both putting in the same amount of gametime too.

I don't know if you know anyone like him or are one yourselves, but i swear.. he tries to kill everysingle peoon on the map and you all know it's not required. and this is what takes him so long to actually get anywhere. playing the game is one thing, heck, enjoying the game is one thing, but slowing down my progress because you wanted to kill 5 more peons because they were in your way and still get less exp than i do at the end of thing is just retarded.


yet aside from all my bitching here?
he is still one of my best friends in a sense to play the game with.
since really my actual friends can't stand the game, and i get bored rather fast solo.. it makes it somewhat playable to have him around, reguardless of all the damn annoyances that come with it.

with that aside, Im sorry to those who's characters got axed.
it's funny how the ones i liked over time are still around, but alot of their new looks are really just bad choices imo...
not all of them are bad, but some i didn't reconize at all
